To all my Facebook friends & Twitter followers:
     I want to share a word of explanation.  No doubt you have noticed an increase in the number of posts that I have produced in the last couple of days.  I started a blog about 8 or 9 months ago.  I put up a few posts immediately and then it went dormant.
     Many of you know that I am a Pastor in The United Methodist  Church.  What you may not know, is that I have always wanted to write devotions, but I have never made it a priority.  That changed a few days ago.  My resolution for 2012 is to write a brief devotion each day.  My ultimate goal is to write one devotion for every chapter in the Bible.
     When I post these devotions a link is automatically sent to my Facebook status and my Twitter feed.  I hope you will not find this to be intrusive.  My primary reason for engaging in this exercise is to challenge myself.
     If you do find that you occassionally read one of the devotions, please know that I welcome your insight and responses.  You may post a comment right on Facebook or Twitter, or you may go to my blog and put a comment there.
